Syahroni (27), a resident of Semampir, Surabaya, was found lying on the shoulder of Songoyudan Street, Nyamplungan on Thursday (9/5/2024) around 02.00 AM. There was a wound oozing blood on the right side of the victim’s chest.
The Chief of Pabean Cantikan Police, Commissioner Dhany Rahadian Basuki, said that Syahroni was first found by the Head of RT 05 RW 11 Kampung Panggung, Ahmad Lukman. At that time, Syahroni was lying with a bleeding chest, suspected to be due to a stab.
“Yes, it is true (there is a wound suspected to be from stabbing), but it is still under investigation,” said Dhany on Friday (10/5/2024).
After finding Syahroni, Lukman asked for help from residents and called the 112 call center. When the officers arrived, Syahroni’s condition had weakened.
The officers also found another wound on the right temple, and a cut on the back. “We have examined initial witnesses. The details of the incident and the motive are still under investigation,” added Dhany.
Syahroni was taken to RSUD dr. Soetomo for intensive care. Currently, Syahroni is still weak, so the police officers have not been able to obtain information regarding the incident.
