Owner of KO brutal 2024, Vinicius Oliveira, managed to make Benardo Sopaj faint after his flying knee kick struck his opponent’s jaw at 4:41 in the third round during the UFC Vegas 87 fight in Las Vegas on Sunday (3/3/2024) WIB. Oliveira confidently stepped into the Octagon. He led the fight and increased the pressure on the 23-year-old player to entertain the last moments in the third round.
Oliveira finally finished it off in a spectacular way. With Sopaj’s shaky legs, the Brazilian fighter launched a deadly attack by releasing a perfect flying knee kick to his opponent’s head.
Sopaj instantly fell and fainted. The medical team rushed to the Octagon to ensure Sopaj’s condition. Fortunately, Sopaj regained consciousness and was assisted out of the Octagon.
Many fans dubbed it as the “Knockout of the year”. However, there were also fans who criticized Sopaj’s coach for allowing his fighter to continue in the Octagon in a poor condition.
“It should have been stopped long before this, Sopaj didn’t want to be there and had been looking for a way out for a long time, poor thing. The referee did not stop it and moreover the kick did not protect him and take him out of the fight.”
