Deputy for Dissemination and Media Affairs at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), Noudhy Valdryno, highlighted President Prabowo Subianto’s dedication to promoting Indonesian scientists on the global stage. President Prabowo aims for increased cooperation between Indonesian researchers and international scientists, believing that such partnerships will help Indonesia progress towards becoming a developed nation. The President urges scientists to actively engage with the public, recognizing their pivotal role in achieving the administration’s goal of 8 percent economic growth over the next five years. This vision is in line with the Asta Cita, specifically focusing on strengthening human resource development, education, and technological advancements. To support scientific advancement, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology is organizing the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) from August 7 to 9 at ITB, West Java. This convention, initiated by President Prabowo, brings together researchers and academics in STEM fields to advance the nation. With the theme “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” KSTI 2025 serves as a platform for collaboration among academia, industry, government, and civil society to accelerate Indonesia’s transition into a high-value-added industrial economy. The event has attracted over 2,000 scientists from across Indonesia, demonstrating the strategic importance of KSTI in fostering scientific innovation and progress.
