Jakarta – Commander of the National Campaign Team for Young Voters (TKN Fanta) for the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Arief Rosyid, said that Gibran’s performance on the Vice Presidential Debate stage tonight was detailed and straightforward. He considered Gibran’s appearance to be superior.
“10:0, 10:0. Because every answer from Mas Gibran is detailed, not beating around the bush, not like asking for forgiveness, when asked A, the answer is Z,” said Arief after watching the vice presidential debate in the SCBD area, South Jakarta, on Friday (22/12/2023).
Arief said that from the beginning, he believed that Gibran was not a ‘lightweight’. Arief said that Gibran has a track record as the Mayor of Solo.
“Since the beginning, we said that Mas Gibran is not a lightweight. Mas Gibran did not suddenly appear. Mas Gibran’s track record in Solo, as a local leader,” he said.
With Gibran’s appearance, he is confident that it will increase young voters. Because, young people can think rationally now.
“Of course, if we look at our young people, they are certainly very rational,” he said.
It is known that the second presidential debate for the 2024 Presidential Election was held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan, Central Jakarta, at 7:00 PM. The theme of the second presidential debate includes Economy (people’s economy and digital economy), Finance, Investment Tax, Trade, Management of the State and Regional Budgets, Infrastructure, and Urban Areas.
The vice presidential debate was moderated by Alfito Deannova and Liviana Cherlisa. There were 11 panelists as the question development team for the vice presidential candidates.
