Telkomsel Operator to Open Customer Service Booths in Saudi Arabia

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Telkomsel mobile operator has opened customer service booths at five points in Saudi Arabia to help facilitate communication for their customers who are performing the Hajj this year.

“In anticipation of a total of 241,000 pilgrims during the 2024 Hajj season, Telkomsel is re-opening the GraPARI Makkah service center, establishing several Hajj Service Booths, and strengthening partnerships with the best operators in Saudi Arabia,” said Telkomsel’s Vice President of Postpaid Consumer and International Roaming, Danang Andrianto.

In Makkah, Telkomsel has a customer service center at GraPARI Makkah (located in the food court area on the P4 floor of the Zamzam Clock Tower). Telkomsel customer service in Makkah can also be found at Al Kiswah Tower Hotel and Al Wehdah Al Mutamayiz Hotel.

Meanwhile, in Madinah, Telkomsel’s customer service is located at Tabah Tower Hotel and Safwat Al Madinah Hotel.

All Telkomsel customer service points in Saudi Arabia can assist customers in obtaining telecommunications services during their pilgrimage, such as changing SIM cards, setting up roaming packages, purchasing credit, and blocking cards. Customers can also redeem Telkomsel Points and pay their Halo card bill using QRIS.

Telkomsel’s customer service for the Hajj pilgrimage is not only in Saudi Arabia. To provide a comprehensive experience, the mobile operator has also opened Hajj Service Booths at 14 embarkation points in Indonesia.

The Telkomsel Hajj Service Booths, which have been operating since May 11 following the departure of the first group of Indonesian pilgrims, are located in Jakarta, Bekasi, Banda Aceh, Medan, Padang, Batam, Palembang, and Solo.

Telkomsel also opened Hajj Booths in Kertajati, Surabaya, Lombok, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, and Makassar.

At the Hajj Booths, Telkomsel customers can activate their mobile cards and roaming packages, as well as receive information about Telkomsel products and services before departing for the Holy Land.

To support smooth communication for pilgrims with their families and relatives in their home country, Telkomsel provides Hajj RoaMAX packages with various activation periods and eSIM RoaMAX for eSIM card customers.
