Indonesia has finished the group stage of the 2025 AFF Women’s Cup with a 1-1 draw against Cambodia in their final match at the Viet Tri Stadium in Phu Tho, Vietnam. Despite falling behind to a goal by Hok Saody, Indonesia managed to equalize through Rosdilah Nurrohmah. However, this result did not change Indonesia’s position at the bottom of Group A, with Cambodia edging ahead in third place due to a better goal difference. The group was topped by Vietnam, with Thailand following as the runner-up. Both Vietnam and Thailand are now awaiting their opponents in the semifinals.
During the match, Indonesia had more scoring opportunities, with 13 shots and five on target, while Cambodia had a slight advantage in possession with 53 percent of the ball. Both teams had their chances, with Rosdilah Nurrohmah’s shot saved by the Cambodian goalkeeper Chen Soveat and Estella Loupatty’s attempt also denied. In the second half, Indonesia continued to press forward, creating more chances through Helsya Maeisyaroh, Aulia Al Mabruroh, and Marsela Awi. Cambodia had a moment of danger with a free kick from Sok Li met by a header from Mak Sreyroth, but it went straight into the arms of the Indonesian keeper Indri Yulianti.
Despite falling behind to a goal by Hok Saody in the 76th minute, Indonesia fought back with Rosdilah Nurrohmah’s individual effort to equalize in the 81st minute. Both teams tried to find a winning goal in the remaining time, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw. This result keeps Indonesia at the bottom of the group standings, with Cambodia securing a third-place finish. The intense competition and close scoreline made for an exciting match that ended in a well-deserved draw.
