Prabowo Adjusts Cak Imin and Sultan Najamudin’s Berets: Military Parade Update

A lighthearted moment unfolded before the start of the Operational and Military Honors Parade at Suparlan Field, Pusdiklatpassus Batujajar, West Bandung, on Sunday. President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto was seen adjusting the berets of Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, known as Cak Imin, and DPD Chairman Sultan Najamudin. This gesture drew smiles from the officials present at the ceremony.

During the event, Prabowo emphasized the significance of state officials wearing military fatigues as a symbol of their commitment to defend the Indonesian nation. He reaffirmed the readiness of the Indonesian people to defend every inch of the country’s territory, stating that they cannot be subdued and would rather die than be colonized again.

Prabowo also conferred honors and ranks to several individuals, including the installation of General Tandyo Budi Revita as Deputy Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). The parade showcased the inauguration of new TNI units, such as Regional Military Commands, Naval Regional Commands, Air Force Regional Commands, and various other specialized units.

The event was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, state institution leaders, cabinet ministers, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and other high-ranking officials. It was a display of unity and strength as thousands of TNI personnel, tactical vehicles, and defense assets participated in the parade, highlighting the importance of national defense and unity.
