Indonesian Diaspora in Middle East Optimistic about Prabowo

During President Prabowo Subianto’s official visit to Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025, members of the Indonesian diaspora showed optimism and high hopes for his leadership. Representing the Indonesian community in Turkey, Maulidya Nur Islami expressed pride and joy at the President’s visit, seeing it as a positive step for both countries. Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif also appreciated Prabowo’s personal attention and direct engagement with them during the visit, anticipating stronger cooperation between Indonesia and Turkey in the future. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki conveyed the enthusiasm of the Indonesian community, hoping that Prabowo’s visit would serve as inspiration to continue bringing pride to Indonesia. The Indonesian diaspora in Egypt also welcomed Prabowo’s visit, expressing confidence in the positive impact it could have on educational development for Indonesian students in the country. Overall, members of the diaspora in these countries offered prayers and good wishes for Prabowo as he embarks on his leadership journey. Since April 9, President Prabowo has been conducting official visits to various Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
